2022 Q1 - Watch List

Here's a quick rundown of the programs I watched during Q1 of 2022. I immensely enjoyed TICK, TICK... BOOM, LE SAMOURI, and HEAT.

Three Quick Notes:

1. HEAT by Michael Mann remains a classic. The acting, directing, action, set design, et all are amazing. Michael Mann is one of my favorite and must-watch directors. If one of his movies is on, I’m watching.

2. THE DIARIES OF ANDY WARHOL are absolutely fascinating and well done. Worth every minute of watching.

3. ROTHANIEL is a stirring standup performance by Jerrod Carmichael. It is a masterpiece.

1. This kid, Marc-André Leclerc is an absolute master and an insane person. Check out THE ALPINIST for a crazy doc.

2. Shonda Rhimes does it again with BRIDGERTON Season 2

3. THE DIARIES OF ANDY WARHOL was a wizard of oz style documentary where we got to actually see behind the curtain of this modern artist.

4. Everything Paolo touches is gold and HAND OF GOD is no different. One of the best of 2021.

5. THE MITCHELLS VS THE MACHINES is a favorite of my daughter and I. We love watching it and mocking the robots!

6. Really enjoyed TICK, TICK… BOOM! that I watched it twice back to back.

7. TURNING RED is a fantastic and fun coming-of-age story worth watching with the family.
